We choose providers carefully and share only what is needed for the conversation to work well.

Compass uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, saving your preferences, keeping the service secure, and understanding how the product is used at an aggregate level.

Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

Because we work with trusted providers around the world, your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

Your conversations remain yours. The words you write, the questions you sit with, the direction you find — they belong to you.

Reflection should always stay personal, and we design Compass with that principle at the centre.

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

— access the information we hold about you;

— correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;

— export a copy of your data in a portable format;

— delete your data;

— object to or restrict certain kinds of processing;

— withdraw consent where our processing is based on it.

You can do most of this from your settings, or email [email protected] and a real person will help.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Compass. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our production systems within 30 days.

Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before it is automatically removed as part of our normal backup rotation.

Protecting your reflections is one of our highest priorities. We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and regular reviews — to keep your data safe.

We can’t promise absolute security — no system can — but we treat the trust you place in Compass with the seriousness it deserves.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated inside the product or by email. Continued use of Compass after an update means you accept the revised policy.
